As a part of the ongoing Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Guwahati Planetarium, a number of programmes will be organized for the students and members of public in general. Accordingly, on 09.11.2019, the Extempore Speech Competition on topics related to Astronomy and Space Science will be conducted for Students of class IX to XII at the Planetarium premises from 11.00am. This will be followed by a popular talk on “Concept of Time” to be delivered by Dr. Kishor Kumar Baruah of Tezpur University on the same day. It may be noted that the earlier notification for the same programmes on 2^nd November 2019 have been rescheduled on the revised date of 9^th November 2019.
